Building
The Building Department ensures that residential and commercial properties comply with the building regulations set forth in Chapter 98 of the Town Code and the New York State Uniform Code.

Code Enforcement
The Code Enforcement division ensures residential and commercial properties in Irondequoit meet the requirements stipulated in the Irondequoit Town Code and applicable New York State codes.

Fire Marshal
The Fire Marshal’s office administers all relevant regulations pertaining to fire prevention and safety in the Town of Irondequoit.

Home Improvement Grant (IHIP)
The Irondequoit Home Improvement Program (I.H.I.P.) is funded by the Federal Community Development Block Grant Program. Under this program, based on your income you may be eligible for a subsidy that will pay up to $4,900 of your home repair and improvement costs.
