Irondequoit Bay Outlet Bridge Feasibility Study

Introduction & Purpose

The Town of Irondequoit is pleased to announce that the Irondequoit Bay Outlet Bridge (IBOB) Access Alternatives Study is underway. This study will explore options to provide year-round access across the Bay Outlet and assess whether any reasonable design solutions can provide year-round access to all travelers (vehicles, bikes, pedestrians, and boats) while preserving Irondequoit Bay’s ability to serve as a Safe Harbor.
